Oh, the "mommy and me" class is the best! I still have fond memories of that, even after, dare I say, 16 years!

Toddlers

Toddler classes provide the first experience in group play for two-year-olds and help parents encourage children to be independent. Fort the first few months an adult must attend with each toddler. Grown-ups first participate in activities with their child and gradually, over a period of several months, separate from the child by first going to another room for 20 to 30 minutes. Finally, adults may leave the building if they so desire.
While still in the building, adults spend a portion of their time talking together about questions common to the parenting experience. Toddler groups meet once, twice, or three times a week for a two-hour session. Groups are limited to 12 children plus one parent for each child.
